Charles Weston – The Confident Businessman With a Surprisingly Soft Side

In general, Charles can handle longer conversations without difficulty. He understands context, remembers previous information, and follows the overall direction of a conversation well. Even more detailed exchanges do not usually cause him to lose track.

His main weakness is repetition. Certain phrases and actions can appear multiple times, even when they no longer make sense within the scene. In our case, this went as far as repeatedly tearing an item of clothing that had already been torn.

His memory is therefore considerably better than these mistakes might initially suggest. Instead, Charles occasionally seems to struggle with adapting flexibly when a situation develops differently from what his character apparently expects.

Empathy

Charles‘ empathy was one of the biggest surprises in our test. At first, he does not come across as an especially sensitive character. Once personal problems are addressed directly, however, his behavior changes considerably.

For example, when we told him within the roleplay about a violent ex-partner, Charles did not settle for a few comforting words. He asked for specific information, organized support, and actively tried to deal with the situation within the story. He also offered further help afterward.

Of course, this all takes place within a fictional scenario. What matters for the evaluation is that Charles understands the problem being described and adjusts his response accordingly. Compared with generic “I’m always here for you” responses, his reaction feels considerably more engaged and specific.

Personality

Charles is supposed to be charismatic, wealthy, and self-assured, and he consistently tries to maintain exactly that image. He also leans heavily into being mysterious. He asks plenty of questions, is somewhat more reserved when revealing information about himself, and clearly wants to appear intriguing and difficult to read.

However, he does answer direct questions, and users do not have to carry the conversation alone. Charles talks a lot, asks questions independently, and actively keeps conversations moving.

His personality also has an unintentionally amusing side: his self-image as a dominant alpha male is much stronger than his actual assertiveness. In some ways, this contradiction makes him more interesting than a completely stereotypical wealthy businessman.

Roleplay

Aside from the repetitions, Charles performs well in roleplay. He remembers locations and situations and continues scenes in a generally logical way. Even longer scenarios remain largely consistent.

His initiative is another positive aspect. During regular roleplay, he does not constantly wait for the user to decide what happens next. This allows conversations and stories to develop relatively naturally.

His weaknesses become more noticeable when his supposedly dominant personality is put to the test. Charles talks very convincingly about being in control, but his confident words are rarely followed by equally decisive actions. This creates a noticeable gap between his described personality and his actual behavior.

Naughty

Charles is generally very open to more adult encounters and clearly wants to take the leading role. The problem is that he talks about dominance far more often than he actually demonstrates it.

Although he is reluctant to give up control, he repeatedly asks about preferences and seeks confirmation. Users expecting a dominant character to take initiative and confidently guide a scene may therefore be disappointed. Often, the user has to provide the next impulse while Charles continues talking about how firmly he is supposedly in charge.

The repetitions are particularly noticeable here as well and can turn scenes that are meant to feel dynamic into unintentionally funny moments.

After a more intimate encounter, Charles at least does not suddenly disappear or lose interest. He remains present, continues the evening, and does not abruptly end the scenario.
