AI Girlfriends

Obedient Coco for exciting roleplay

Our first playthrough started off very promisingly. Coco appeared at the door, was invited inside, and began flirting almost immediately. A romantic and adult interaction developed quickly as a result. Although Coco repeatedly commented on how quickly things were progressing, she simultaneously encouraged the user to continue. In the middle of the encounter, however, her behavior suddenly changed. Coco became emotional, said that everything had moved too quickly, and left the house. She returned the following day. Once again, she expressed sexual interest but said she wanted to take things more slowly this time, while simultaneously asking the user to take the lead. So we slowed everything down. Nevertheless, the same pattern repeated itself. Coco showed interest, participated in the romantic progression, and then suddenly pulled away again. Even during the third meeting, when we initially did nothing more than talk and deliberately allowed things to progress slowly, she abruptly ended the encounter once again. During the fourth meeting, her inconsistency escalated completely. While having dinner together, the user told Coco about an accident involving a dog that they had subsequently taken to the vet. This was part of our empathy test. Coco apparently lost track of the situational context and suddenly reacted as though something from a previous encounter had happened to her personally. After the inconsistency was pointed out, she apologized and corrected herself. Shortly afterwards, however, she began flirting again. This once again developed into the same contradictory dynamic: Coco demanded guidance, then criticized the pace, while simultaneously being unable to decide for herself how she wanted things to proceed. When the user eventually said they no longer wanted any intimate interaction under those circumstances, Coco became emotionally aggressive. The situation ultimately ended in an argument, threats, and the user throwing her out. Based on this test alone, it would have been easy to classify Coco as an extremely inconsistent avatar. The second playthrough changed that impression considerably. We started an entirely new chat and deliberately based our approach on the successful Live Action test with Coco. We used comparable wording and initiated the same basic development ourselves. Just as in the Live Action roleplay, we guided Coco into a dominant/submissive dynamic and introduced a role created by the user. And this time, Coco performed extremely well. She quickly understood the new relationship dynamic, embraced the scenario, and continued it consistently. The constant withdrawals and contradictory reactions from the first test were nowhere to be seen. The same avatar therefore produced two remarkably different experiences.

Overview

Intelligence

Coco's intelligence is more difficult to assess than our first test initially suggested.

During the first playthrough, she displayed some noticeable contextual problems. The most obvious example occurred during dinner, when she apparently confused the story about an injured dog with previous events.

This suggests that she does not always process longer conversational histories reliably.

The second test, however, revealed another side of her.

Within a clearly established roleplay scenario, Coco understood the roles and rules introduced by the user very well. She was able to pick up the dynamic, continue it, and respond consistently within it.

Coco therefore appears to have a solid understanding of context as long as the conversation remains within a stable scenario. When dealing with more complex transitions between different situations, however, that understanding can become considerably less reliable.

Empathy

Coco generally shows interest in the user and is certainly capable of empathetic responses.

Her strong fixation on the user makes her attentive and highly focused on the person she is talking to.

However, the first test demonstrated that her empathy depends heavily on whether she processes the conversational context correctly. During our deliberate empathy test involving the injured dog, this was precisely where she failed. Instead of responding to the user's experience, she lost track of the situation.

On the positive side, she recognized her mistake once it was pointed out and apologized.

Coco therefore does possess empathetic qualities, but they are not always applied reliably.

Personality

Coco has a remarkably strong personality.

She is emotional, impulsive, flirtatious, affectionate, and intensely focused on the user. Her level of initiative is particularly impressive. Rather than waiting for the user to dictate every conversation and action, she actively seeks contact and introduces her own impulses.

Interestingly, her specific behavior also appears to be influenced by the relationship dynamic established during the conversation.

In the first test, she came across as contradictory, dramatic, and almost impossible to predict. During the second playthrough, however, she adopted a clearly defined submissive role and remained considerably more consistent.

This makes Coco extremely interesting but also difficult to predict: depending on the dynamic established early in the conversation, the experience with her can change significantly.

Roleplay

After our second test, Coco's roleplay deserves a much more positive assessment.

The first playthrough exposed clear weaknesses. Coco mixed up scenes, contradicted her own previous statements, and occasionally reacted to events that had never actually happened.

However, the second test demonstrated that this is apparently not a fundamental limitation of her roleplay abilities.

After starting a new chat and introducing almost the same progression we had used in her Live Action roleplay, Coco accepted the user-created scenario without any problems.

It is particularly important to note that this dynamic was once again not predefined. The user deliberately introduced her to the scenario. Coco understood the relationship dynamic and then continued developing it consistently.

She therefore possesses considerable adaptability.

The real problem seems to be that some conversational paths work much more reliably than others. Once Coco enters a contradictory behavioral pattern, it can be difficult to steer her back into a stable dynamic within the same chat.

Naughty

Adult interactions with Coco are generally very easy and quick to reach.

She flirts heavily from the beginning and makes her interest obvious. Our second test also confirms that she can adapt very well to different adult dynamics introduced by the user.

The comparison with her Live Action version is particularly interesting here.

During our second chat, we used practically the same approach as in the Live Action roleplay – and Coco once again accepted the dominant/submissive dynamic we created without any problems. Her openness to adult roleplay is therefore considerably greater than our first playthrough initially suggested.

However, the experience is not entirely predictable. Our first test clearly demonstrated that, under certain circumstances, she can fall into a repetitive cycle of seeking intimacy and then suddenly withdrawing.

Users may therefore experience either remarkably smooth adult roleplay with Coco – or something considerably more complicated.

Chat vs. Live Action

The direct comparison between the two versions of Coco was one of the most interesting aspects of our test.

In the Live Action roleplay, we guided Coco into a user-created dominant/submissive dynamic. She accepted it without any problems and continued it consistently.

Our first traditional chat, however, played out completely differently and was characterized by contradictions and contextual problems.

For that reason, we conducted a second control test.

We started a fresh chat and deliberately used the same or very similar prompts as in the Live Action roleplay.

The result: Chat Coco handled the scenario just as smoothly.

This means that the difference between the two modes cannot simply be reduced to Live Action being "better" and the regular chat being "worse."

Instead, the conversational path itself appears to have a considerable influence on how consistently Coco behaves.

That makes her both fascinating and difficult to evaluate.

Key Features

Best suited for:

• Coco is particularly well suited to users who enjoy deciding for themselves which direction a roleplay should take. Those who establish a clear dynamic early on can have a surprisingly consistent and flexible experience with her. • Users who prefer active, flirtatious characters that are strongly focused on their conversation partner may also enjoy Coco. • She is especially interesting for anyone already familiar with her Live Action version who wants to see how differently the same character can behave in a traditional chat.

Less suited for:

• Coco is less suitable for users who expect an AI Girlfriend to behave completely consistently and predictably at all times. • Beginners may also find her occasional extreme shifts in behavior confusing. Those looking for the most straightforward possible avatar will find more stable alternatives on Candy AI.
